Ma'an Ileha district under two-week curfew as of next Thursday, announces government
AMMONNEWS - Based on the recommendation of the Covid-19 Crisis Cell at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), the Committee for the Sustainability of Work, Production and Supply Chains has decided on Tuesday, to impose a comprehensive two-week curfew on Ileha district in the southern Ma'an governorate, starting as of 6am next Thursday, September 24.
Under the curfew decision, the security committee, headed by Ma'an administrative governor, has been authorised to open the necessary facilities, as well as to draw up a mechanism to allow citizens to meet their basic needs on foot at different timings, according to the regions, which guarantees a minimum level of contact.
The administrative governor has also been authorised to take the necessary decisions related to allowing the entry of vital supplies, issuing permits, when necessary, and handling humanitarian and emergency situations, as per the government decision.
