Defense Orders provides protection and health care to all citizens
AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, said that the government has ensured that Defense Orders are providing protection and health care to all citizens in the country.
During a press conference at the Prime Ministry along with Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, and Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Musa Maaytah, Adaileh added that Fifteen Defence Orders have been issued since March 17, six of which focused mainly on social protection, four Defense Orders focused on protecting citizens' health, two were issued to provide the basic services for citizens, such as education.
In addition, three Defense Orders focused on social and economic protection.
However, Defence Orders were never used for political aims or to restrict peoples' freedom, Adaileh added.
Adaileh also added that a total of 265,000 families have benefited from the Day Laborers Aid program.
In addition, 885,000 people have benefited from Social Protection programs, Adaileh said.
For his part, Maaytah said that Parliamentary Elections in Jordan will be held on November 10.
