Health Ministry requests to reinforce medical staff in Al-Bashir hospital
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health has urgently requested the Prime Ministry to make an exception to appoint new medical staff in order to reinforce the shortage in some of the health facilities, especially in Al-Bashir hospital, Minister Saad Jaber announced Sunday.
'The ministry asked to appoint 300 nurses during this week, and 100 doctors during the coming period,' the minster added.
This came at a meeting with Director of Al-Bashir Hospital, Mahmoud Zureikat, in the presence of President of the Civil Service Bureau, Sameh Al-Nasser, to discuss ways of improving the performance of the health system.
