Restrictions at Jordan University Hospital enforced after virus cases recorded
AMMONNEWS - Jordan University Hospital said on Saturday it will continue to impose a total ban on visits until further notice and close the endoscopy unit until Sunday for sterilization after two coronavirus cases were detected at the facility.
The hospital said in a statement that the Day Surgery/Endoscopy Unit will be closed tomorrow as part of the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the hospital in the face of the COVID-19, and in light of the developments in the epidemiological situation, and for the safety and health of visitors.
The statement said that patient admissions will be suspended for 48 hours, starting Saturday morning until Sunday evening, noting that the appointments for the outpatient appointments will remain unchanged and only through the online platform, adding that no outside patients will be admitted except for emergencies.
The hospital also said that COVID-19 tests will be free for all the hospital's employees.
