AMMONNEWS - Security apparatuses isolated the home of a woman who tested positive for the COVID-19, an official stated on Wednesday.
In a press statement, Balqa Governor Nayef al-Hidayat said that the patient works at the Jordan Olympic Committee and resides in the Qutaiba neighborhood in Ain al-Basha.
Al-Hidayat pointed out that the woman was transferred to the Prince Hamza Hospital, adding that the epidemiological investigation teams began collecting samples from contacts and residents of the neighborhood in addition to collecting random samples.
He called on citizens to take precautions and use protection measures, noting that the disease is spreading.
