7 Amman buildings isolated after COVID-19 infections confirmed
AMMONNEWS - Seven residential buildings were placed under lockdown in Amman Monday after coronavirus cases were confirmed, according to Amman Governor Saad Shehabi.
He said that the buildings were sterilized and were dealt with according to the health protocol in place, adding that police officers were stationed at the buildings to ensure no one goes in or out and enable epidemiological teams to take COVID-19 swab tests.
He said the buildings, located in various areas of the capital, will remain under lockdown until the test results are announced.
