AMMONNEWS - Despite a slight in temperatures, it will remain hot nationwide with the highs reaching 36 degrees Celsius in the capital, Amman, and other highlands, according to a daily weather report by the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as temperatures slide to around 24C and even 19 in the southern highlands, the Department said, adding that highs in Aqaba will reach 42 degrees, while lows will stand at 28 at night.
On Thursday, mercury levels are forecast to rise so hot and dry weather conditions will continue to prevail, the JMD added.
