Foreign Ministry:175 Jordanians to return home from Syria
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said Saturday that about 175 Jordanians will return from Syria across the Jaber-Nasib border crossing after securing their homecoming.
Ministry spokesperson Daifallah Al-Fayez said that the procedures for transporting the Jordanians from the Syrian side of the border to Jordanian territory had been completed.
Fayez also said that the return of Jordanian citizens from the Palestinian territories will start Tuesday morning.
He also said that the ministry had secured the return of 50 Jordanian nationals from Iraq to the Kingdom Friday evening, as well as about 750 from Saudi Arabia as part of a national effort in coordination with the other concerned authorities in the Kingdom.
