AMMONNEWS - Five new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Jordan on Thursday, bringing the total number to 1,206 since the start of the crisis, according to the Ministry of Health.
The one local case is in the capital Amman and contact tracing is underway, the ministry said.
The other four cases involve Arabs currently residing in quarantine hotels, two are from Kuwait, one is from Yemen, and one is from Saudi Arabia.
Three recovered COVID-19 patients were discharged from Prince Hamzah Hospital.
The Ministry of Health reiterated the need to adhere to preventive measures, wearing masks, social distancing, and the use of Aman and Sehtak applications.
