No new Covid-19 cases recorded in Jordan for the 2nd consecutive day
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday no new Covid-19 cases were recorded for the second consecutive day in the Kingdom, maintaining the total caseload at 1169 cases.
Five Covid-19 cases have recovered, as two patients have left Prince Hamza Hospital, and three others were discharged from Queen Alia Hospital, according to the a joint statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, 7876 laboratory tests were administered today, bringing the total count of tests conducted since the start of the pandemic to 448,701, added the statement.
Moreover, the ministry said the pandemic risk has not ended, despite no new infections were registered over two days in a row.
The ministry urged the public to adhere to the preventive measures, wear face masks, observe physical distancing, and use the 'Aman' (Safety) application, which alerts users if they come into contact with a person infected with the virus, according to the statement.
On another e-service, the ministry has stressed the importance of Sahtak' (your health) application for smart phones, which provides users with the latest information and news related to the COVID-19 disease.
