AMMONNEWS - The repatriation of Jordanians from abroad (by land and air) will be suspended as of June 27, until July 10, except for pre-scheduled trips, Director of Operations at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management's crisis cell, Brig. Gen. Mazen Faraiah announced on Saturday.
Faraiah told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the decision was taken for reasons related to the rearrangement and organization of reception and quarantine procedures and medical examination measures, in addition to a noticeable increase in the number of infections among the quarantined persons in hotels and public accommodation areas and their contacts.
