AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom, with mercury levels marking around annual average, reaching a high of 29 degrees Celsius in the Capital, Amman during daytime, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as mercury levels slide to around 18. In the port city of Aqaba, daytime temperatures will stand at 37 degrees, while lows will slide to 23 at night.
On Friday, temperatures are expected to increase, but fair conditions will continue to persist in the highlands, while it will be hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
A further rise in temperatures is forecast on Saturday, recording 3-4 degrees above their seasonal average, and bringing relatively hot conditions in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will be hot in rest parts of the country, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust at times, the JMD noted.
