2 new Covid-19 cases, 12 patients recovered in Jordan on Wednesday
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health announced 2 new Covid-19 infections were recorded in the Kingdom,on Wednesday, bringing the caseload since the start of the pandemic to 757.
The media statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health showed 1 new case belongs to a Jordanian arriving from Russia, and the other infection to a non-Jordanian truck driver at the Al Omari Border Crossing, who was dealt in accordance with the health protocol in place.
12 new Covid-19 patients have recovered, 6 at Prince Hamzah Hospital, 2 at King Abdullah University Hospital, and 4 at Queen Alia Hospital, added the statement.
On the testing campaign, 5495 Covid-19 laboratory tests were carried out today, bringing the tally since the start of the pandemic to 204,374, the statement showed.
According to the statement, next Friday, June 5, will see a lockdown nationwide, and citizens will allowed to go out for Friday midday (Dhuhr) prayers on foot between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
