4 new coronavirus infections recorded in the Kingdom
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health announced that four new coronavirus cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Saturday, raising the Kingdom's caseload since the start of the outbreak to 734.
According to the daily brief by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health, the four cases were three Jordanians coming from Afghanistan, Malaysia and Britain, and one who was in contact with an infected person in Irbid Governorate.
It said that no recoveries from the disease were recorded today, adding that 3,522 COVID-19 laboratory tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests carried out since the start of the pandemic to 183,641.
The government also said it is currently mulling recommendations by the National Epidemiological Committee to allow new sectors to reopen, including restaurants, cafes and malls, and that decisions will be announced as soon as possible.
The media brief also announced the launch of the Aman application for iOS users.
The Ministry of Health called on citizens to use the Aman application due to its importance in warning against contacting infected persons, especially after the majority of sectors were allowed to reopen.
