AMMONNEWS - Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque will reopen to Muslim worshippers next Sunday, the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf announced Wednesday, taking into account health and safety guidelines in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
General Director of the Islamic Awqaf, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, told Petra’s reporter in Ramallah that all necessary measures have been taken to gradually return to normal conditions, starting by cleaning and sterilizing the squares, terraces and corridors of the holy place in order to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
