Public transport excluded from even-odd license plate policy
AMMONNEWS - Public transport is excluded from the even-odd license plate policy, but included in the prohibition of inter-governorate movement policy, an official told the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
Salah Lawzi, Acting Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Commission on Monday said public transport will resume operations after the official Eid Al Fitr holiday, which ends this evening, in accordance with the government-approved safety and health protection measures that were put in place to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
The measures include non-stop bus rides, providing passengers with hand sanitizers, using face masks and gloves, and limiting the number of passengers to no more than 50 percent of the total capacity in compliance with social distancing rules.
