No new Covid-19 infections recorded inside the Kingdom, 6 for returnees
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health said no new Covid-19 infections were recorded inside the Kingdom on Wednesday, while 6 cases were registered for people coming from abroad, bringing the caseload in Jordan to 582.
On the 6 infections' details, 4 cases were for returning students, currently quarantined in the Dead Sea region, 2 returnees from London and 2 from Egypt, and two infections for truck drivers of non-Jordanian nationalities, who were dealt with in accordance with the approved protocol, according to the media briefing issued by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health today.
Two cases have recovered at at Prince Hamzah Hospital, bringing the number of patients still being hospitalized to 128, added the briefing.
Almost 4 thousand laboratory tests have been carried out today, bringing the total samples tested to detect coronavirus disease so far to 127,307,
