AMMONNEWS - Director of the Zarqa Health Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Tahan, said epidemiological investigation teams have collected 450 samples from citizens of Zarqa's Hashimiyah and Birin regions as of Tuesday's night until now, to detect any Covid-19 infections.
In press statements on Wednesday, Tahan said 100 samples were taken from the Hashimiyah area, which has recorded a Covid-19 infection recently, 100 samples were collected from the Birin district from people living close to the second patient, in addition to collecting 250 random samples from different areas of the governorate, some 24 km northeast of the capital, Amman.
The governorate's health crews have sterilized the homes of the two patients and the neighboring homes, and isolated the two Covid-19 cases' areas as a precaution.
