AMMONNEWS - Traffic department agents have seized 236 vehicles for violating driving instructions for private vehicles and public transport from 8am to 3pm Wednesday.
In a press statement, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said: ' Though the overwhelming majority of citizens has committed to the new traffic instructions, some flouted the instructions in place without adhering to the the odd-even traffic system.'
Those violations were dealt with directly by the public security personnel, and flouting vehicles will impounded for a month, and legal measures will be taken against the drivers, the PSD pointed out.
The PSD called on all citizens to abide by the traffic instructions issued to regulate the use of private vehicles and public transport.
