Irbid: no new cases of COVID-19 recorded on Wednesday
AMMONNEWS - No new cases of infection with the COVID-19 were recorded in the Irbid governorate on Wednesday, an official said in a statement.
Director of the King Abdullah University Hospital, Muhammad Ghazou, stated that the swabs collected over the past 24 hours came back negative.
The governorate's Director of the Health Affairs Department, Qassem Mayas, said the epidemiological investigation teams will collect new samples of individuals who came into contact with a truck driver infected with the disease.
Based on the results, the Executive Committee of the Crisis Management Cell will look into lifting the three-week lockdown imposed on a local neighborhood, Mayas added.
