AMMONNEWS - State Minister for Media Affairs Amjad Adailah said, on Thursday, that the number of coronavirus cases has doubled five times due to violations committed by some citizens.
The minister, during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crises Management, added that the government has spared no effort in dealing the current situation, stressing that citizen's commitment to measures that have taken is the key factor to overcome this situation.
A series of meetings, Adailah said, have been held in order to alleviate burdens on many sectors that were adversely affected by the pandemic, adding that the Ministry of Social Development has surveyed 210 thousand families that were affected by the pandemic.
