Six new COVID-19 cases recorded in Jordan on Tuesday , bringing total to 274
AMMONNEWS - Minister of Health, Dr. Sa'ad Jaber, Tuesday, confirmed 6 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 274.
In a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), Jaber said that the four cases were in Irbid and two others in Amman.
The Minister confirmed that all residents in the buildings in the Irbid governorate, in which Palestinian infected students live, tested negative for the virus.
Jaber also announced the recovery of four cases in Prince Hamza Hospital, confirming that they had been discharged.
He pointed out that the epidemiological investigation teams conducted 1,220 COVID-19 tests across the Kingdom.
The Minister assured the people of Wadi Musa, in southern Jordan, that all the tests that were conducted for people, which amounted to more than 250, turned out negative, stressing that the Ministry will run additional tests next week.
