Police urges public to use hotline only for extreme emergencies
AMMONNEWS - The Public Security Department (PSD) on Wednesday urged citizens to use the 911 hotline for extreme emergencies and urgent medical cases only, after receiving 319,000 calls, most of which were non-urgent calls.
In a statement, the PSD's spokesperson called on citizens not to overwhelm medical or security agencies with non-urgent calls.
