Gov't to announce mechanism of distributing bread, water, medicine
AMMONNEWS - Minister of Labor, head of the government team for the continuity of work, Nidal Bataineh, Monday, announced the procedures of providing people with food, food, milk, medicine and oil derivatives starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
According to these procedures, bread will be distributed to homes in the form of bags, each bag will contain three kg of bread at a price of 96 piasters, Each home will be given only one bag a day.
The bread will be transported to people in Amman by a fleet of buses through the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).
As for families and those benefiting from the National Aid Fund (NAF), they will be provided with bread for free through the municipalities and in coordination with the administrative rulers.
Bataineh pointed out that the hours for distribution of bread and drinking water in all regions of the Kingdom will start from 9 am to 5 pm.
In order to enhance the delivery of bread to everyone, government cars will be placed at the disposal of administrative rulers if the need calls for it.
As for the procedures related to the delivery of medicine, milk and other commodities, pharmacies will open for business and will deliver these commodities to homes across the Kingdom. Pharmacies will start working from 10 am to 8 pm.
With regard to providing people with cooking gas cylinders, distribution agencies will continue to provide homes with their needs, as gas agencies and their vehicles have been allowed to distribute within neighborhoods and in all regions of the Kingdom from 9 am to 6 pm, noting that there is no truth rumors that the distribution of bread will be through vehicles allocated to distributing gas.
With regard to kerosene, gas stations will work to meet the needs of people through delivery, those who want kerosene will have to order by calling the gas stations from 6 am to 6 pm.
As for the basic staples that include frozen chicken, milk, rice, sugar, eggs, sanitizers and detergents, the distribution mechanism, which will be via delivery, will be announced Wednesday.
With regard to the movement permits currently in place to those whose work nature requires so, they will be canceled as of next Thursday evening, and will be replaced with electronic permits. The mechanism for obtaining them will be announced later.
The government warned against movement permits forgery or giving the permits to others to use them.
