State Security Court considers releasing detainees of drugs, counterfeit money cases
AMMONNEWS - The State Security Court (SSC) is looking at the possibility of releasing some prisoners detained over drugs trafficking and money counterfeiting cases, in line with government measures taken to curb the spread of coronavirus.
In a statement on Monday, SSC said the measure aims at achieving the best interests of the inmates by ensuring they have access to the required health care during the current circumstances.
'The numbers of those released will be announced after completing the necessary procedures,' the statement added.
