Pleasant weather for two days, dust storm on Thursday
AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will slightly on Tuesday, but pleasant weather will continue to prevail nationwide, with clouds at high altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Mercury levels will climb again on Wednesday, but similar weather conditions will persist with high-altitude clouds and northeasterly moderate winds.
On Thursday, the Kingdom will be affected by a dust storm in the foreground of a deep depression centered over Egypt, bringing dusty and warm conditions with a chance for scattered showers during the day, the JMD added further.
At night, clouds will gradually build up and rainfall will be heavy in most regions, forming floods in the valleys and the low lands, including the city of Aqaba.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 21 degrees Celsius and a low of 11 degrees, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 28 degrees sliding down to 17 at night.
