AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is forecast for today to become 5 to 7 degrees Celsius above their annual average, with fair conditions remaining in most regions and warmer conditions expected in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on its daily brief.
Similar weather will persist over the next two days, with clouds at different altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital will reach 24 degrees Celsius, 19 in the northern cities and 20 in the southern parts of the country, dropping down to 12, 10 and 9 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 30 degrees and lows standing at 17, the JMD added.
