Health ministry says no new COVID-19 cases reported
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health on Saturday said that no new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been reported in the Kingdom, except for the one case the Kingdom announced last week.
The ministry said in a statement that the patient is recovering very well and will be discharged from hospital soon. It added that the total number of cases that are still under quarantine has reached 77 while 219 others have been released from hospitals after tests proved they had been negative.
With regard to travel, the ministry reiterated the advice that the government gave to citizens to avoid travel except for the most urgent need, in light of the accelerated spread of the virus in many countries of the world.
In its daily brief, the ministry said arrivals from China, South Korea and Italy are currently denied entry to Jordan, except for Jordanians who are placed under quarantine whenever they arrive from these countries.
