AMMONNEWS - The weather is forecast to be warm nationwide today, with clouds at high altitudes and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Metrological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
On Friday, a cold air mass accompanied by a depression centered over Syria will envelop the Kingdom, leading to a significant in temperatures and bringing relatively cold weather conditions.
Clouds will build up at different altitudes and rain will fall in several parts of the country, mainly in the northern, central and southwestern regions where it will be heavy, and forming floods in the valleys and low-lying areas.
Cold and partly cloudy conditions will persist on Saturday, with a chance for scattered showers in the early morning hours. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times.
