AMMONNEWS - Mercury levels are forecast to rise few degrees on Tuesday, so the weather will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and relatively warm in other parts of the Kingdom, with easterly to southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
The department expected colder weather at night with southeasterly light winds.
A further rise in temperatures is predicted on Wednesday, becoming 5-6 degrees above seasonal average and bringing pleasant conditions in the highlands until Thursday, while it will be warm in the other regions with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the Badia, the JMD noted.
The highs today will reach 18 degrees Celsius in Amman, 14 in the northern cities and 15 in the southern governorates, sliding down to 9, 6 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 27 degrees dropping down to 15 at night, the JMD said.
