AMMONNEWS - The King Talal Dam in Jerash overflowed for the first time during the current wet season, as it reached its full capacity of 75-million-cubic metre, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation announced Sunday.
The Ministry's spokesman, Omar Salameh, urged the public to stay away from areas downstream of the dam towards King Abdullah Canal and the Jordan Valley, and alerted all concerned authorities to take the necessary precautions.
