Rainfall is forecast to taper off as we go into the evening but it will remain chilly as mercury levels continue to sink below seasonal average by up to 7 degrees especially over the next three days. The JMD warned of up to 80-KM gust of winds in some regions during the day.
On Sunday, intermittent rain is forecast during the day but will start to stabilize in the evening. Daytime temperatures in the central and northern highlands will remain in the 3-8 Celsius degrees vicinity and will sink to the freezing point during the night and even lower in the southern region.
The JMD warned of floods in some areas on Saturday and of frost formation over the next three days. In the Jordan Valley and Gulf of Aqaba, the highs will range between 16 to 17 degrees dropping down to 10 at night.
