Jordanian expats donate gloves, face masks to China
AMMONNEWS - Four Jordanians have donated 10,000 gloves and 5,000 face masks to the entry and exit bureau in Yiwu city, the Chinese People's Daily reported Tuesday.
The donors said after the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan they bought gloves and face masks for the bureau's personnel, who 'work day and night to control the epidemic and protect us from it.'
The expats, who have been living in the city for years, also voiced confidence in China's ability to eradicate the virus, the newspaper said.
Yiwu is one of China's main trade cities and a home of more than 500 Jordanian merchants.
