No "suspicious" coronavirus cases will be transferred to another lockdown hospital, says ministry
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health confirmed that it has no intention to transfer any 'suspicious' coronavirus cases currently admitted to the isolation hospital here, as its medical cadres are specialized in epidemiology and provides the highest levels of health and safety care.
The ministry’s statement came in response to a report posted on an online news sites titled: 'Transferring Suspicious Cases with Coronavirus to Fuhais Hospital'.
The statement categorically dismissed the report and denied the ministry's plans to transfer any 'suspicious' cases to the hospital, located outside of the capital Amman.
The cases currently in quarantine are stable and receive the necessary health care, the statement affirmed.
The Epidemic Diseases Ward at Bashir Hospital provides its medical and preventive services to the current cases, and offers preventive care to them until they complete the 14-day stay as per the preventive protocol applied globally, the statement pointed out.
The ministry announced no coronavirus case was confirmed in the Kingdom.
