AMMONNEWS - Cold weather conditions are expected for Saturday, as cloud cover will alternate between partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possible sporadic rain showers in various parts of the Kingdom.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) predicted heavy sporadic rain showers accompanied by thunder and occasional hail storms.
The department warned of slippery roads, possible floods in the valleys and lowlands, and reduced horizontal visibility due to clouds covering highlands and raised dust in the Badia regions.
Highs in Amman and much of the northern region will reach 13 degrees Celsius, while lows will to 4 degrees. Mercury levels in the southern highlands will range between 9 and 3 degrees, and 21 - 12 in the port city of Aqaba.
The next two days are expected to bring in similar chilly weather conditions, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a chance of rain showers.
