AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, on Sunday met with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, with talks focusing on enhancing bilateral relations between Jordan and Egypt.
During the meeting, held upon arriving in Riyadh to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Arab and African Coastal States of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden (AARSGA), the two ministers affirmed the need to deepen and increase bilateral coordination in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
They also discussed regional developments and ways to address them in a manner that prevents further tension and avoids the consequences of the escalation, stressing the need to intensify efforts to overcome the current challenges and achieve regional security and stability.
