Relatively cold weather to persist despite rise in temps
AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, becoming few degrees above their annual average, but the weather remains relatively cold in most parts of the Kingdom and gentle in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 19 degrees Celsius in Amman, 17 in the northern areas and 14 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 7, 8 and 3 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees and lows standing at 12.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Thursday and Friday with and southeasterly moderate winds, the department predicted.
