AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Sunday received the Audit Bureau's 2018 report, which lists key violations in government entities.
The report includes unaddressed issues that have a major effect on public finance, as well as the recommendations necessary to resolve them in accordance with laws and legislation in force.
During a meeting with the Bureau's President Assem Haddad, Razzaz stressed that the government will deal with the violations and wrongdoings included in the report.
He highlighted the government's support for the Audit Bureau so that it can carry out its supervisory duties with integrity, impartiality and independence to maintain public funds from waste, loss, and misuse and combat all forms of financial and administrative corruption.
Haddad pointed out that the Bureau monitors all violations committed in institutions under the Bureau's supervision and communicates with these institutions directly to rectify the violations.
At the beginning of this year, the premier directed the team in charge of reviewing and resolving the violations listed in the report to begin rectifying them before the report was officially issued.
