AMMONNEWS - Thirteen people of Pakistani nationality were killed of severe burns, while three others were injured after a fire erupted early Monday in a zinc-roofed house in the Karama district of Southern Shouneh, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) reported.
In a statement, CDD said its personnel rushed to the scene, put out the fire, administered first aid to the injured and evacuated the dead bodies to the Southern Shouneh Hospital.
'The injured were listed in fair condition,' it added, noting that a committee was formed to find out the main causes that led to the blaze.
