AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions are expected on Sunday, as temperatures raising above their seasonal average with low-altitude clouds and southwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Unstable weather conditions are expected to bring partly cloudy skies during the evening, with rainfall and thunder at times, mainly in the western parts of the country, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Monday, therefore it will be cloudy with a chance for light showers in the northern and central regions with northwesterly moderate winds, the department noted.
Pleasant weather will prevail on Tuesday with clouds at low altitudes and easterly moderate winds, the JMD further said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 20 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern governorates, dropping down at night to 9 and 10 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the southern port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 28 degrees and lows sliding to 17, the JMD added.
