AMMONNEWS - During an interactive session held today to discuss the public budget and the government priorities, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz said that Jordan is in an exceptional phase that 'requires dialogue with everyone.'
Razzaz addressed a number of high achievers, entrepreneurs and representatives of students' unions of Jordanians universities.
'In 2020, there will be no new taxes imposed on citizens, and our duty is to stimulate economic growth to jobs for young people,' Razzaz mentioned.
He pointed out that the government should develop a clear plan to achieve economic and financial independence and to involve youth in the discussion of priorities.
He stressed that the government wants the economic growth to have a positive impact on the Jordanian citizens, adding, 'we have increased capital investment rate in our budget through power plants, water purification, improvement of health services, and reformation of schools in cooperation with the private sector.'
