AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will be affected on Sunday by a moderate and wet air mass, pushing temperatures down, bringing mild conditions across the Kingdom with partly cloudy to cloudy weather at times, especially in the northern and central regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) reported.
The weather will change to be relatively cold at night in the hilly areas, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees over the next two day, but similar moderate conditions will prevail in many parts of the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan valley and Aqaba with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 28 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern cities, dropping down at night to 17 and 19 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 36 degrees and lows sliding to 25, the JMD said.
