AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday and Thursday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Friday, but similar weather conditions will remain with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 31 degrees Celsius in Amman, 30 in the northern cities and 28 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 18, 20 and 13 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 39 degrees and lows sliding to 27, the JMD said.
