AMMONNEWS - Amman Governor Saad Shihab on Thursday urged Teachers Association to abide the law.
A statement by Shihab said that the authorities did not prevent a teachers' demonstration, which was set to be held today midday, but approved it to take place in the opposite arena to the House of Representatives and nowhere else that may impede public life, traffic and citizens.
'In case of any breach of law, necessary measures will be taken,' he added, explaining that the government respects the right of teachers to express their opinion and hold their demonstration in accordance with the law.
