According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds at high altitudes in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom with moderate northwesterly winds are also forecast today.
Daytime temperatures expected in the capital and the northern cities for today will reach 34 degrees Celsius and 31 in the southern cities, dropping down at night to 21 and 19 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 41 degrees and lows sliding to 28, the JMD said further.
A slight in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, bringing normal summer-like conditions in the hilly areas and plains, but remaining hot across other parts of the country, the JMD added.
Northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at times in the desert, are also expected on Tuesday with high altitude clouds in the southern region, it further said.
