Relatively hot weather forecast Thursday, in temps Friday
AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot weather conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds will appear at various altitudes, especially in the eastern parts of the country with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 34 degrees Celsius in Amman and 31 in the northern governorates, dropping down to 22 in both cities. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 39 degrees and lows sliding to 28, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Friday, bringing normal summer conditions in the mountainous areas and the plains, and hot in other regions with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.
On Saturday, relatively hot conditions will prevail in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will remain hot in rest part of the country with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD further said.
