Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 35 degrees Celsius in Amman, 33 in the northern cities and 30 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 22 and 18 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 40 degrees and lows sliding to 27, the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will continue on Thursday, while another in mercury levels is expected on Friday, bringing normal summer conditions nationwide with northwesterly moderate winds, it added further.
