AMMONNEWS - The Lower House Saturday endorsed a draft law amending the Judicial Independence Law of 2019 as proposed by the Senate.
The Senate had stood its ground that the Judicial Institute be affiliated with the Judicial Council President, rather than the Minister of Justice as currently valid.
The bill was approved in a session chaired by Speaker Atef Tarawneh and attended by cabinet members.
