AMMONNEWS - Moderate summer weather conditions are expected to prevail Monday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds will appear at low altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up at night and stirring dust in the desert, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 31 degrees Celsius in Amman, 29 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down to 20, 21 and 18 respectively at nights. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 40 degrees and lows sliding to 28, the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will continue over the next two days, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times.
