Normal summer conditions forecast Thursday, rise in temps Friday
AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with northwesterly moderate winds, according to Jordan Metrological Department (JMD).
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 32 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 22 at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 28 degrees at night, the JMD noted.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Friday, bringing relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will remain hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Saturday, creating normal summer conditions across many areas, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD noted.
